Job Description

As a Cashier at our Durban location, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring that all customers receive great service while efficiently managing cash transactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Engage with customers and address their needs effectively.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Inventory management tasks including restocking shelves with products.
• Perform administrative tasks related to register operations.
• Assist with promotional events and store marketing efforts.
• Provide feedback on customer preferences and trends.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Further education in retail management is a plus

Experience

• At least 1+ years of experience working in a cashier or retail environment

Technical Skills

• Cash management
• Retail software

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Attention to detail

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Bilingual capabilities: Fluency in English and Afrikaans is beneficial.
