Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer with us, you will apply your engineering knowledge to design innovative products and systems. You will engage in troubleshooting, testing equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and design regulations while also contributing to continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for mechanical systems ensuring specifications are met.
• Perform risk assessments during project lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers regarding project details.
• Utilize CAD software for the design and modelling of components.
• Conduct field inspections to ascertain project progress and compliance.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to devise innovative solutions.
• Provide technical support during installations and troubleshooting.
• Document every process meticulously for quality control.
• Engage in cross-departmental collaboration for successful project execution.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant engineering field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical systems design and implementation

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with 3D printing technologies: Experience with additive manufacturing processes and applications.
• Experience in renewable energy projects: Exposure to designing mechanical systems related to renewable energy.
