Job Description

We are seeking an organized and creative Event Planner to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of event planning, from concept to execution. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure to create memorable events.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute corporate events, social events, and weddings.
• Coordinate and attend site visits with clients and vendors.
• Assist clients in selecting themes, decorations, and entertainment options.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and legal requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement contingency plans.
• liaise with local authorities to secure necessary permits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus.

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in event planning

• Social Media Management

Certifications

• Event Planner Certification from a recognized body

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
