Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Legal Advisor to join our prestigious firm in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice in various areas, including corporate law, contract management, and compliance. You will work closely with clients to help navigate complex legal challenges, ensuring that they are fully informed about their rights and obligations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of legal documents for compliance.
• Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their legal needs.
• Assist in the development of internal policies and procedures.
• Stay abreast of relevant legal updates and industry trends.
• Support the legal team in managing case files and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law
• Master's in Law (LLM) is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in legal consulting or corporate law

Certifications

• Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx)
