Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Retail Store Manager in Durban to lead our store operations. You will be responsible for maximizing sales, developing team members, and ensuring a delightful customer experience. Previous experience in retail management is required, along with strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the sales team and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Manage customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns.
  • Conduct stock counts and manage replenishment orders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Prepare and manage store budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Lead by example in providing a positive and engaging shopping experience.
  • Implement training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Matriculation Certificate
  • Degree/Diploma in Retail Management or Business is advantageous
