Job Description

As a Telegraph Service Clerk, you will be integral in the transmission and reception of telegraph messages, ensuring clients receive their communications promptly and accurately. Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role, which also requires a commitment to providing top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process and dispatch telegraph messages.
  • Maintain communication equipment and respond to any technical issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Document all messages and maintain precise records.
  • Support team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in training new staff members on telegraph procedures.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to discuss ways to improve effectiveness and customer service.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • No prior experience necessary; however, experience in telecommunications or customer service is preferred.
