This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that guests receive the highest level of service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in achieving targets for guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Maintain and evaluate performance metrics for departments.
• Ensure efficient front desk operations for guest check-ins and check-outs.
• Oversee housekeeping to ensure cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Engage with local community and events to promote the hotel.
• Manage and resolve guest complaints effectively and professionally.
• Monitor and control expenses to adhere to budgetary guidelines.
• Assist in strategic planning and management of hotel initiatives.

Advantageous

• Fluency in additional South African languages: Ability to communicate in multiple languages will be an advantage.
• Previous experience in luxury hospitality: Experience managing high-end hotels or resorts.
