Display Artist

Job Description

We are in search of a talented Display Artist to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you'll create and implement engaging visual displays that offer an immersive shopping experience. Your creativity and attention to detail will be key in presenting our products in the best possible light.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative display concepts to showcase products attractively.
• Work closely with suppliers and contractors for display installations.
• Assess and update displays regularly to ensure relevance and appeal.
• Create and manage project timelines for display execution.
• Coordinate with visual merchandising teams to ensure brand consistency.
• Assist in the photography of displays for marketing purposes.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve overall display effectiveness.
• Ensure safety standards are adhered to in all display constructions.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Retail Management or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in retail merchandising.

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• 3D Modelling
• Social Media Coordination

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with window displays: Hands-on experience in designing impactful window displays.
