Job Description

As an Employee Relations Specialist based in Durban, you will be responsible for managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles and be adept at resolving employee issues effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of employee wellness programs.
  • Evaluate employee engagement metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare reports on employee relations and labor law compliance.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and management in negotiations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in HR.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
  • HR Management certification is desirable
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in employee relations or HR consultancy
