Dental Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our dentists to provide exceptional dental care and ensure a positive experience for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize treatment rooms for procedures.
• Assist in the performance of dental procedures under the direction of the dentist.
• Perform routine lab tasks such as taking impressions.
• Educate patients on the importance of dental health and preventive care.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization protocols in the dental office.
• Handle stock dispensation and order supplies when necessary.
• Coordinate with the dental practice manager for smooth workflow.
• Document patient interactions and treatment procedures accurately.
• Follow up with patients after treatment to ensure their well-being.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Dental Assisting or equivalent
• Additional certification in dental hygiene is a plus

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental practice.

• Prior experience in a high-paced dental practice: Experience working in a busy dental office setting.
