Job Description

As a Corporate Lawyer at our Johannesburg firm, you will provide expert legal counsel on a variety of corporate legal matters, including contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. You’ll work closely with clients to ensure their legal needs are met with professionalism and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risks involved in corporate transactions.
• Prepare and file necessary corporate documents with regulatory authorities.
• Draft board resolutions and minutes.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals to deliver comprehensive legal support.
• Implement best practices in corporate law and compliance.
• Monitor compliance with international law as applicable.
• Facilitate training sessions for clients on legal issues.

Requirements

Education

• LLB from a recognized university
• Postgraduate degree in Business Law is an advantage

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in corporate law practice

• English: Fluent
