Job Description

As a Service Unit Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of service rigs in the oil and gas industry. You'll collaborate closely with a team, ensuring that all procedures are followed for optimal safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assess bail applications in alignment with company policies.
• Monitor the status of defendants and report non-compliance.
• Investigate leads on flight risks and take action as necessary.
• Facilitate communication between clients and legal advisors.
• Document all interactions and maintain confidentiality.
• Prepare for court appearances and provide necessary support.
• QA process of bail agreements for compliance.
• Engage with local community regarding bail processes.
• Stay updated on laws and regulations affecting bail practices.
• Enhance client relationships through effective communication.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Degree in Criminal Justice or relevant field is beneficial

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in bail bonding or related fields

Technical Skills

• Negotiation skills
• Legal knowledge

Soft Skills

• Conflict resolution

Certifications

• Certified Bail Agent

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Previous experience as a bailiff or in a legal environment: Such experience will be advantageous for understanding courtroom dynamics.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and criminal software: Skills in data management and security software relevant to the role.
