IP Policy Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IP Policy Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and developing policies related to intellectual property law, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IP audits and recommend best practices for governance.
• Represent the organization in IP-related inquiries and procedures.
• Collaborate with external legal advisors on complex IP matters.
• Evaluate and manage IP portfolios to maximize value.
• Assist in the negotiation of IP agreements and licenses.
• Provide ongoing support for IP litigation when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent
• Professional qualifications in Intellectual Property Management preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department

• English: Fluent
