Job Description
As a Counter and Rental Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the rental process of baby strollers to our customers. Your role will involve ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining optimal inventory levels and cleanliness of rental equipment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Greet customers upon arrival and assist them with their rental needs.
  • Inspect returned strollers for damages and ensure they are ready for the next rental.
  • Ensure strollers are sanitized and adhere to safety standards.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Participate in promotional events to boost rental sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rental area.
  • Perform regular checks on inventory levels and order new stock as necessary.
  • Help train new staff on rental procedures and customer service best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the rental team to achieve monthly goals.
  • Develop rapport with returning customers to enhance service quality.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Point of Sale (POS) systems Proficient in operating POS systems for transactions.
  • Inventory Management Software Basic understanding of managing inventory systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills Skilled in providing a friendly and professional customer experience.
  • Attention to detail Strong capability in ensuring equipment is in good and clean condition.
  • Team player Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • English (Fluent)
  • Afrikaans (Conversational)
Advantageous
  • Prior experience in baby products retail: Experience working in companies that specialize in baby equipment rentals or sales.
  • Additional language proficiency: Ability to speak multiple languages to cater to diverse customers.
