We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing technical assistance to customers and ensuring their satisfaction while also troubleshooting technical issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for technical support to resolve user issues.
Manage and prioritize support tickets effectively.
Conduct follow-ups with users to ensure their technical issues are resolved.
Maintain a knowledge base for quick reference of common issues.
Work with vendors to escalate unresolved problems and track resolutions.
Assist in testing and deploying software updates and patches.
Create training materials for users and conduct training sessions.
Help in maintaining IT inventory and asset tracking.
Requirements
Education
Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is a plus
Experience
2-3 years in a technical support or IT helpdesk role
