Labor Law Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Labor Law Consultant to provide comprehensive legal advice on labor law matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on compliance with labor regulations, dispute resolution, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Advise on the interpretation and application of labor laws.
• Represent clients at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation, and Arbitration (CCMA).
• Assist with collective bargaining negotiations.
• Draft and review employment contracts ensuring compliance with the law.
• Implement strategies to resolve workplace conflicts.
• Monitor changes in labor legislation and advise accordingly.
• Liaise with government bodies and other regulatory organizations.
• Facilitate workshops on labor law updates for clients.
• Support the HR department in handling employee grievances.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
• Postgraduate Certificate in Labor Law is an advantage.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in labor law or related field.
