Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and support across the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all regulations while effectively managing legal risks. You will draft and review contracts, represent the company in legal proceedings, and liaise with external legal service providers.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Identify potential legal risks and advise on mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest legal developments affecting the industry.
• Support the business in resolving legal disputes.
• Provide guidance on intellectual property matters.
• Collaborate with different departments for legal matters.
• Maintain accurate records of legal documents and correspondence.
• Prepare reports for the General Counsel on legal issues.
• Facilitate training on legal issues for staff.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree with honors
• Postgraduate diploma in Corporate Law is advantageous

Experience

• At least 7 years of legal experience in the corporate sector
