Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Customer Support Representative to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves assisting customers with their queries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth customer journey. Ideal candidates have excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach.

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer complaints and escalate as necessary for prompt resolution.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs and challenges.
  • Work closely with product teams to relay customer insights.
  • Assist in developing customer support guidelines and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in customer support or service
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in support tools (e.g., Zendesk)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Soft Skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player
Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

  • Experience with remote customer support: Prior experience in providing remote support to customers.
  • Bilingual communication skills: Ability to communicate fluently in English and Afrikaans is preferred.
