Job Description

As a Legal Assistant at our firm, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal team. You will be responsible for preparing legal documents, conducting research, and maintaining client files. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and proofread legal documents, including briefs and motions.
  • Conduct research on applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal practices and procedures.
  • Ensure documents are filed in compliance with court requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Support attorneys during trials and hearings.
  • Assist in preparing trial exhibits and demonstratives.
  • Follow up with clients to gather necessary information.
  • Prepare and maintain financial documentation for cases.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Legal Studies or a related field
  • Experience with legal software is preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in a legal environment
