Job Responsibilities
  • Assess and mitigate IP risks in projects.
  • Develop training materials on IP compliance.
  • Support the negotiation of IP-related agreements.
  • Monitor changes in legislation affecting IP rights.
  • Engage with external legal counsel when necessary.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
  • Postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property Law is an advantage
  • Intellectual Property Law Thorough understanding of IP laws and regulations.
  • Contract Drafting Ability to draft and negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Legal Research Proficient in conducting detailed legal research.
  • Analytical Thinking Strong analytical skills for complex legal issues.
  • Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving Adept at resolving disputes and challenges.
  • Certified Intellectual Property Law Specialist
  • Admitted attorney in South Africa
  • English (Fluent)
  • Afrikaans (Conversational)
